The February Bullion draw was made at the Newport v Bridgend fixture by Newport RFC players Rhys Jenkins and Evan Whitson. Rhys is a popular member of the ‘black and ambers’ team and also acts as a coach and club mentor for the rugby academy at Newport High School which FoNR financially support. Evan is following in the footsteps of his rugby playing father Mike and Newport RFC legend grandfather Geoff. The Whitson rugby tradition is safe in his hands.
