Tomos Mascots Newport
Tom Little, Little by name but not by nature, led out Newport with Captain Alex Jones for Newport's first British Irish Cup encounter this season. Tom who is part of the Corpa Motley Crew player sponsor team has performed the all important mascot job before and so needed no instruction as to how to go about his task. The Motley Crew sponsor Sevens Hero Craig Hill but with injury keeping Craig out of the picture, Tom chose to meet Newport New Boy Lewis Roblin before leading out the team with the skipper. Unfortunately Toms inspiration wasn't quite enough for Newport to gain a win against a very good Leinster A team. There was plenty of spirit and a huge fight back from a twenty point deficit.
