Conor Leads Out Newport for Cup Derby

Conor, a player with the Eveswell School team, and keen judo exponent, had the honor of leading out Newport in one of Welsh Rugby's oldest fixtures.

Firstly he met up with Rodney Parade hero and record breaker, Dan 'The Man' Griffiths for the traditional photo shoot, before leading out the team with a grim looking skipper, Andy Coombs.

Expectation were high as Newport ground down tough opposition to take a seventeen point lead. The spoils however went to Cardiff who never gave up and managed to overhaul Newport in injury time for a narrow win.
