Connor Calls In The Cavalry Connor, who attends Rougemont School in Newport, was the inspirational mascot for Newports first encounter in the new British Irish Cup Competition. First, Connor met up with favourite player Sam Waldron for the traditional photo opportunity. Hat wearing was the order of the day as can be seen in the picture. Then Connor lead out Newport along with skipper Andy Coombs for an exciting and bruising match against Exeter Chiefs which saw Newport chalk up a usefull victory. Nick Jackson. FoNR Community Rep' |
