Rod Snow joins FoNR Friends of Newport Rugby are delighted to announce that former Newport RFC prop Rod Snow has become Honorary Vice Patron of the Trust. Rod was a hugely popular player at Rodney Parade during his career with both Newport and The Newport Gwent Dragons due to his passion and commitment for the ‘Black & Ambers.’ Rod was presented with a commemorative certificate to mark the event by Membership Secretary John Evans on Saturday 1st August following a match between Newport RFC and Rod’s current team from Canada, Newfoundland Rock. Rod commented that ‘it is a huge honour to be given this position and I will do whatever I can to help The Trust from the other side of The Pond.’ Kev Jarvis |
