It’s that time again, time to announce our winners for the Rodney Parade Bullion Draw! The December draw was pulled by Newport RFC Captain and Dragons Back Row Oliver Griffiths. Appointed Newport RFC captain for 2014/5 he became the youngest ever Newport captain and led his side to victory at Bedwas in his first game as captain. Ollie was accompanied on stage by WRU Intern Kimberley Martin who is currently based with Newport RFC. The Bullion Draw is beneficial to all the teams who use the great facilities at Rodney Parade as half the money made is used to sustain the infrastructure and development of our home ground through the efforts of Friends of Newport Rugby. WRU Intern Kimberley is currently working to re-brand and develop this scheme further in order to make it more accessible to both Dragons and Newport fans. The scheme currently see’s £400 given away in prizes each month however as more fans enter this number will only continue to rise. There are also numerous ways our supporters can enter the draw!
